Trauma Recovery IFS Group
Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm
This group is for adult men and women who are in the recovery process from traumatic experiences. Individuals who experience significant trauma often feel isolated and disconnected from others and can greatly benefit from group work. This is a place where individuals can share their stories and learn new ways of interacting with others that comes from a self-protective rather than self-defensive or isolative place. Members are recommended to continue individual therapy at a minimum of twice per month while enrolled in the group.

Beyond the Breakup; Finding Balance After a Breakup
Mondays at 7 PM
Divorce is one life’s top ten stressors. Going through a divorce can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. To help, Highland Village Counseling is offering a Divorce Support Group beginning in February 2025 to provide a supportive and confidential space to share your journey, connect with others, and find guidance as you navigate the emotional, practical, and personal challenges of divorce. The group will provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can process feelings, build resilience, and explore strategies for moving forward.
Led by Chris Shade, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with personal experience navigating separation and divorce as well as a number of current clients experiencing the process, the group was created to address the growing need for this type of support. The group blends therapeutic discussion with practical strategies to help you heal and move forward. Whether you’re at the beginning stages of separation or further along in the process, you’ll find a community willing to walk alongside you one week at a time.
Who can join?
The group is open to individuals of all genders and backgrounds navigating separation or divorce. -
Individual Intensives
3 Day Intensives
This intensive is designed to go back to the root cause of what has you feeling stuck. We use experiential therapy to help you not just know and understand your trauma but to truly process it in an embodied way. Rather than going to counseling for one hour per week to chip away at these essential elements, we set aside three days to dive deep into the heart of the therapeutic process. It's a concentrated way to take your healing to the next level so that you can feel better.
Starts at $3,500
