Specializing in grief, religious trauma, and childhood trauma, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can freely express your emotions and experiences. With a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, I offer real talk and genuine understanding as we work together on your healing journey. Whether you're dealing with loss, trauma, or emotional challenges, I'm here to guide you step by step, helping you find your own path to recovery and personal growth.

  • You are nervous and even a little skeptical about therapy and you want someone to walk you through the process step-by-step. You want someone who can help you get to the root of what's going on and you're ready to put in the work to feel better.

  • I create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable as we take time to build a strong therapeutic relationship—an essential part of successful therapy that we won't rush. Together, we'll set goals and develop a personalized treatment plan centered around your needs. I often introduce self-compassion and emotional intelligence as a foundation, incorporating techniques like Internal Family Systems (IFS) or 'parts work,' along with EMDR therapy. Throughout our work, you'll strengthen your relationship with yourself and those around you.

I have spent much of my career working with trauma and obsessive-compulsive disorder and while I may often be unstructured in the nature of our sessions, I provide much clearer guidelines, strategies, exercises, and education throughout these topics in the therapy experience. I utilize a host of methods including Cognitive Processing Therapy, TraumaFocused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as DBT skills for grounding and regulation. With that said, I dedicate a lot of our time to not losing your authentic and genuine experience to the host of strategies I can provide. They are there to guide us but they are not the full work.

  • My training and personal experiences have prepared me to work with clients who are going through it. I went to Texas Women’s University and graduated in 2021. My own experience with therapy helped me realize a career change was needed and I am so glad I made the change. I love helping people find tools that work for them and help people do deep work to understand more about themselves.
